Speech Language Pathologist

Lionsgate is a Public Charter School that specializes in educating students with Autism or other learning differences and offers more than a typical school.

SLP AT OUR SCHOOL:

• Caseload of approximately 30 middle and high school students.
• Work with students in the pull-out, push-in, and small group setting.
• Work at one campus with at least one other SLP and collaborate closely with other support services (social work, OT, DAPE).
• ASHA dues and professional development paid by district.
• Caseloads include social communication, perspective taking, expressive/receptive language, and fluency. Minimal articulation.
• Many students utilize AAC and functional communication skills are targeted.

OUR STAFF:

• Collaborate daily with team members.

• 80 hours Paid Time Off in the school year.

• Hours are 7:45am-4:15pm.
• Have summers off and the opportunity to work Extended School Year.

WE OFFER:

• $55,000 - $72,000 depending on education and experience.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• MN Educational Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF).
• Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks.
• Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum.
• One year previous experience working with middle school or high school age youth (preferred).
