Must be currently enrolled in an accredited two or four year college or university; or at a technical school taking college level courses. Successful completion of criminal history background investigation is required prior to employment. **UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT $18.00/HOUR** **GRADUATE STUDENT $18.50/HOUR**
Position Summary:
The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Commissioner in District One with official tasks and delegated County business, conducting research, and developing public policy at the direction of the Commissioner, coordinating logistics of public engagement, and writing correspondence on behalf of the office both internally as well as for the purpose of addressing constituent issues and other external matters. May also attend outside meetings on behalf of the Commissioner.
