NMU U.P. Regional Health Camp Employees
U.P. Regional Health Camp is a camp dedicated to health education and health career exploration.
Camp dates: Sunday, July 20-Friday, July 25
Position Titles, Roles & Responsibilities:
Day Group/Team Leaders (6-8 Total): NMU students will be assigned to a particular group of high school students from 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. each day. They will be responsible for keeping the group contained, escorting them and attending their particular sessions, accompanying them to breakfast and lunch and ensuring the group is where they are supposed to be throughout the day.
Overnight Residence Hall Supervisors (4-6 Total): Ensuring students remain in the residence halls immediately following scheduled evening extra-curricular activities, conducting a site-seen check-in each evening at designated turn down time, being readily aware and available for any urgent student needs between the hours of 9:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m. Ensuring rules and safeguard regulations are followed at all times and communicating updates and needs to camp administrators in a timely manner.
Extra-Curricular Activities Assistant (6-8 Total): Assisting and supervising students during dinner and evening extra-curricular activities between 5:00-9:00 p.m. each evening.
Students will be required to attend a mandatory student orientation to learn more details about the camp in general, as well as their particular assignments.
