Location & Hours:
- Remote
- Full-time/40 hours a week
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time
Pay Range:
- The full pay range is $93,844 - $140,766 /annually.
- We provide an additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for those employees who can support our members' financial needs effectively in a second language; subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms utilizing language skillset.
Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting the role of the Project Management Office (PMO). It plays a key role in the development and implementation of complex projects and programs that support new and current business, driving for continuous improvement across the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Acts as a mentor and provide guidance and direction to other project managers. Support the PMO through upholding the team values and ensuring all tools, templates, and systems are kept current and working efficiently.
- Uses experience and knowledge to tackle troubled projects and deliver them successfully.
- Aligns programs to company strategy, ensure programs and projects meet their objective while supporting and adding value to the overall organization roadmap.
- Analyzes, summarizes, and presents on program status, issues, risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior leadership. Work cross-functionally to gain alignment, resolve issues and drive action.
- Defines, tracks, and reports on measurable outcomes for programs.
- Directs program activities ensuring all projects remain on track and support overall program goals.
- Leads cross-functional project teams with a continuous improvement mindset to deliver large complex projects and programs focused on driving business process optimization and aligning with the organizations with long-term (3-5 year) roadmap.
- Maintains well-developed working knowledge of the assigned duties and job functions; keeping up to date and requesting additional training and/or development as needed.
- Manages programs and projects simultaneously in accordance with the credit union’s established project management methodologies.
- Plays a key role in the development and implementation of complex projects and programs that support new and current business, driving for continuous improvement across the organization.
- Completes and review reports relating to the Project Management Office, as directed by the area Director.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (GED equivalent).
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in Project Management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, managing cross-functional teams in a financial or operations environment, and developing effective business solutions that align with company and business unit/department objectives.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field of study
- PMP, CAPM, Agile Certification
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge and skill using project management software.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the credit union’s core and ancillary systems to perform the job.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn federal, state and local laws, statutes, regulations codes and standards related to the area of responsibility.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with area Vice Presidents, Directors, Branch Managers, and employees.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems with successful outcomes.
- Establish program goals and objectives that support the credit union’s strategic plan.
- Keep current with industry and regulatory changes and trends.
- Lead complex internal projects efforts to completion through development of cross functional, collaborative relationships with internal team members.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Use good judgment and make decisions within scope of job.
- Work under pressure or stress, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines with frequent changes to priority status.

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Includes an option for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance to be paid at a 100% by company for the employee only coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions, and Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA). Employees also have access to Life and AD&D insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan. Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time.
All benefits except 401k start the first of the month following date of hire. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
