Quality Control Technician

Under the direction of the Superintendent II (Detergent), the incumbent performs a responsible chemical testing work in the analysis of consumer products within a Cleaning Products Plant maintaining order, supervision of the conduct of incarcerated individuals and protect and maintain the safety of persons and property.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in the Field of Chemistry
  • Experience with and knowledge of CALOSHA requirements and Health and Safety in a commercial/correctional setting
  • Experience in Quality Control in the Manufacturing of Chemicals or Cleaning Products
