
Summer 2025 Internship // Film, TV & Theater Production and Development

The internship opportunity will be for the production and development arm of the company, Linden Productions, where Riva Marker is the CEO. The internship will take place in our NYC or LA office. Linden’s recent and upcoming projects include Aleshea Harris' forthcoming directorial debut IS GOD IS (starring Sterling K. Brown, Janelle Monáe, Vivica A. Fox for Orion), the Tony Award-winning play Stereophonic, Genie (starring Melissa McCarthy for Peacock), Family Switch (starring Jennifer Garner for Netflix), and Dead Ringers (starring Rachel Weisz for Amazon), and more.
Applicants for our Summer 2025 internship should be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast- paced and professional environment. Attention to detail, as well as strong verbal communication and analytical writing skills are essential. Applicants should possess organizational skills and general office and computer skills. Experience in writing coverage is preferred, though not necessary. The internship will help students hone this skill. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and will have a strong work ethic and basic familiarity with the film business and contemporary cinema and television. Prior internship experience in the film industry is a plus though not required.
Intern duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: evaluating script and book submissions for company consideration to produce, submission coverage, research projects, and general administrative assistance. Hours: We require a minimum time commitment of 2 days per week, during the hours of 10:00am - 6:00pm. Applicants must be in the general NYC or LA area, as the internship will require a few days in person at our office.
