Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc. also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.
Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics: self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. We also provide tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.
Our mission is to teach SEL tools at every school in the country. It is a tough challenge, but we know “No Challenge, No Change.” If you are also concerned about children’s mental health and social well-being, join us! Resilience offers unpaid internship programs that require at least a 4-month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week and team meetings weekly. Availability must also allow for as-needed meetings/phone calls. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement.
Assist the SG&C Director to prepare reports; needs assessments; and evaluations, related to the Resilience’s self-governance activities; support in documenting import/export processes and procedures;?aid in ensuring that all staff members are offboarded, according to Resilience’s policies and procedures. Activities:
Audit the following items on a monthly basis
1) employee PROFILES completely filled out with headshot
2) PROJECTS filled out completely - and every staff member is assigned to at least one project
3) each staff member has TASKS assigned
4) each staff member CLOCKS IN and out for the tasks they're working on
5) Each staff member attends a weekly TEAM meeting and monthly DIVISION meetings
6) Researching LinkedIn accounts to see if active and inactive employees are referencing Resilience Inc. as an employer
7) Keeping track of Offboarding and exit survey status.
