About the Role:
As a special education paraprofessional, you’ll play a vital role in supporting licensed teachers and helping students thrive. You’ll work directly with K-12 students, providing the care and attention they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your Impact:
- Assist licensed staff in the classroom to create a positive and productive learning environment
- Help students meet their individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students with activities and assignments
- Provide crisis support and de-escalation when needed
- Use creative learning methods to enhance students’ experiences and foster growth

What We Require:
- 60+ college credits OR a passing score on the Paraeducator or Paraprofessional Assessment plus high school diploma/GED
- Professional proficiency in English
- US Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship or relocation assistance)
- Deep care and motivation to work with children
- Must be 18+ years old
What We Love to See, But Not Required:
- Previous work or experience with people with special needs
- Experience as a Behavioral Technician or PCA working with children
- Experience working in an educational environment
