The Student Nurse Technician, under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), provides care and procedures to neonatal, pediatric, adult or geriatric patients. This position reports and documents observations, assists with procedures, and performs other unit-activities as assigned.

The Student Nurse Tech position requires orientation attendance Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Employment is contingent on full orientation attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent & Current participation in core nursing classes in an accredited associate degree, or baccalaureate degree nursing program. 
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
    • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS within 30 days or hire or transfer.
