Documentation Specialist
Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and execute various administrative and documentation tasks related to the sale and invoicing process, for both domestic and international trade transactions, this includes freight audits, document filings, and coordinating payment requests with accounting and maintaining the weight claim reports, etc. Additionally, this position may require managing export documentation for export and domestic shipments.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for preparation and collection of domestic & export invoices, including but not limited to, pricing, printing, copying, mailing, and payment settlement
- Requesting Transaction Certificate for Regen and Organic Sales Invoices.
- Processing of settlement of weight claims, and other misc. debit or credit notes Communication with brokers, agents, and banks regarding documents, payment, or L/C status or disposition of debit/credit notes
- Fill the freight audit sheet and file the bill of lading into Laserfiche

Required Education and Experience
- An associate or higher degree in Business or related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Knowledge of standard banking procedures, irrevocable letters of credit, UCP 600, documentary collections
- Knowledge of standard practices for documentary collections
- Experience in the Agriculture or cotton industry
- Spanish or second language
