About this role
Our company is looking for a Project Manager Level 1 to join our construction team. As a Project Manager Level 1 you will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, coordination of project timelines, and to the highest standards of quality. The Project Manager will coordinate with stakeholders, manage project schedules, handle procurement, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Your strong leadership and communication skills will be crucial in managing teams and maintaining productive relationships with clients, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand construction drawings and blueprints to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and manage shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Oversee the review, submission, and tracking of project submittals.
- Understand project specifications to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Create project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met on time.
- Conduct TWLA (Two week look ahead)
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Organize and lead meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any issues.
- Conduct regular meetings with the project team to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment.
- Oversee meetings on-site to review operations and resolve any field-related issues.
- Handle the creation and management of RFIs to clarify project details.
- Develop and manage CPRs to address and document project changes.
- Evaluate project complexity and implement strategies to manage challenges effectively.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Construction science, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in construction project management.
