Account Coordinator

Parker Sanpei is an award-winning public relations and marketing consultancy based in San Luis Obispo, CA. We are seeking an Account Coordinator with a strong interest in pursuing a career. For the right candidate, this position has the potential to evolve into a long-term role with our agency.

Job Duties:

  • Participate in weekly planning meetings
  • Assist the team with various administrative and project tasks
  • Manage contacts in Hubspot CRM
  • Monitor media hits through Google Alerts and MuckRack; sharing earned media placements for clients and continually updating the Client Activity Report and Muck Rack with the media placement
  • Monitor new media requests to take next SOP steps in collaboration with the media and client
  • Liaise with media and VIPs to curate exceptional experiences using TripCreator to create agendas 
  • Curate media lists for targeted pitches and press releases using MuckRack
  • Perform independent research on assigned topics 
  • Assist with agency and client social media management 
  • Assist in creating quarterly and annual reports using Canva
  • Assist in creating proposals using Canva 
  • Update monthly press hits, and marketing performance reports




 

Requirements

We work with a variety of programs to drive efficiency, conduct research and analytics, generate reports, and deliver success for our clients. While we don’t expect candidates to be familiar with every platform we use, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and technology skills, along with a hunger to learn new systems and take on additional responsibilities. Below is a sampling of the qualities we’re looking for in our candidates.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Be an organized self-starter with outstanding attention to detail
  • Be an effective communicator, with a strong ability to write and edit
  • Be data and analysis driven
  • Be proficient with G Suite products
  • Have experience creating presentations in Google Slides or Powerpoint
  • Be able to quickly pick up new programs and technologies
