Title IX Programming Graduate Assistant
Position Description
The Title IX Programming Assistant will gain a deeper understanding of Title IX and its
role on college campuses through assisting the Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX
Coordinator with all aspects of the Title IX Office’s educational and prevention
programming. The Title IX Programming Assistant will work directly with Complainants
of Sexual Misconduct Reports and assist the Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX
Coordinator with intaking reports of Sexual Misconduct.
Duties
1. Under the supervision of the Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinator,
attend intake meetings with Complainants of Sexual Misconduct reports;
2. Serve as the assistant advisor for the It’s On Us Kutztown Chapter student group;
3. Serve as the liaison between the Title IX Office and It’s On Us Kutztown Chapter
student group;
4. Conduct research on Title IX, Sexual Misconduct, and related topics;
5. Plan and prepare written materials and activities for Title IX Tuesday tabling
events;
6. Prepare social media posts for the official Kutztown Title IX Instagram page;
7. Attend Title IX Tuesday tabling events and other events the Title IX Office is
participating in;
8. Assist with specific educational programming projects such as D.A.T.E.S.
Awareness Week and Sexual Assault Awareness Month;
9. Assist the Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator with writing the
script for the D.A.T.E.S. Awareness Week skit that will be utilized throughout the
State System;
10. Prepare written articles and summaries on current Title IX and Sexual Misconductrelated
events or news stories;
11. Complete required Title IX training through SUNY SCI online platform;
Other duties as assigned.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Bradley Davis for additional information if needed at brdavis@kutztown.edu.
