DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An Invoice Processor 1, is a technical position requiring an extensive working knowledge of accounting principles as well as rules and regulations as prescribed by the Governor, Executive Board, Office of the Budget and Administration, Secretary of General Services, and the Legislature. You will be tasked with reviewing purchase order and non-purchase order invoices to ensure that each expenditure transaction is processed in accordance with all legal, administrative, and regulatory requirements. You will have the opportunity to resolve or appropriately route issues caused by duplicate or rejected invoices, referring more difficult technical problems and irregularities to a supervisor. Communication and teamwork are essential to ensure the efficient operations of our division.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. More information can be provided during the interview process.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
- An Associate Degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits of accounting.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
