## POSITION OVERVIEW

Voice Up seek passionate Sports Purpose Mentors to guide student-athletes in discovering and pursuing their deeper purpose through our revolutionary Purpose Level Package. As a Sports Purpose Mentor, you will be at the forefront of transforming how athletes connect their athletic identity to entrepreneurial leadership, family legacy, and community impact. This position represents a unique opportunity to help some of the nation's leading and rising athletes not only excel in their sport, but create generational wealth and purpose-driven impact for their families and communities.

## KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

### Purpose Discovery & Mentorship
- Conduct weekly one-on-one check-ins with assigned student-athletes
- Guide athletes through Voice Up's five-minute monthly purpose assessment
- Help interpret purpose profile visualizations and identify patterns, strengths, and growth opportunities
- Facilitate purpose discovery conversations connecting athletic identity to deeper meaning
- Create personalized development plans aligning athletic goals with purpose pathways
- Provide accountability and encouragement throughout purpose journey

### Entrepreneurial Development
- Connect athletes to entrepreneurship resources aligned with their purpose profile
- Guide exploration of purpose-aligned business opportunities
- Assist in translating athletic brand into viable business concepts
- Provide feedback on business models, marketing strategies, and venture ideas
- Help athletes navigate NIL opportunities with purpose integrity
- Support financial literacy development for long-term wealth creation

### Family Legacy Building
- Engage with family members to strengthen support systems
- Facilitate intergenerational conversations about talent, purpose, and legacy
- Help athletes articulate their vision for family transformation
- Connect athletes to resources for family financial planning and wealth management
- Guide development of strategies for breaking negative cycles and creating generational change
- Support athletes in becoming positive role models within their family systems

### Community Impact Facilitation
- Help identify community causes aligned with athlete's purpose profile
- Guide development of sustainable community impact initiatives
- Assist in creating meaningful service-learning opportunities
- Connect athletes to potential community partners and resources
- Support effective storytelling about community impact work
- Help quantify and communicate the impact of purpose-driven initiatives

### Brand Alignment Support
- Ensure authentic alignment between personal brand and deeper purpose
- Provide feedback on content creation and media presence
- Guide integration of purpose messaging into brand development
- Help navigate potential brand partnerships with purpose integrity
- Support development of compelling purpose narrative
- Assist in creating media content that authentically communicates purpose

## QUALIFICATIONS

### Experience & Expertise
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in mentorship, coaching, athletics, entrepreneurship, or purpose development
- Background in athletics (playing, coaching, supporting) strongly preferred
- Experience supporting others in discovering and pursuing their purpose
- Understanding of NIL landscape, brand development, and entrepreneurship
- Familiarity with financial literacy, wealth building, and generational planning concepts
- Track record of building effective mentoring relationships

### Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of purpose discovery methodologies and application
- Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills
- Ability to connect athletic identity to broader purpose concepts
- Knowledge of entrepreneurial practices and business development
- Understanding of how mental wellbeing connects to purpose fulfillment
- Cultural competence and appreciation for diverse backgrounds
- Ability to inspire and motivate through authentic relationship building
