Cultural Exchange Teach in China Program
Our Cultural Exchange Teach in China Volunteer Program is an opportunity for
socially conscious individuals to leverage their life experiences towards
closing the cultural gaps between China and Western countries, being
an ambassador of their culture, and giving students in China the chance
to see the the world through a different lens while learning English.
Here's a brief overview of who we are and about the program:
The Blue Lake Bridge is the US partner of The Lanhu Cultural Exchange Center (LHCEC) – a non-profit organization founded in 2007 by a now-retired schoolteacher. We help
qualified Chinese public and international schools reach out to capable individuals to
volunteer and teach English in China for 10 months, starting in late
August of each year. By the same standard, provide the teachers with
an opportunity that will enhance their lives and careers. The remarkable
development of China in the past two decades is evident, and we
provide you with the best Chinese cultural experiences. With a mindset of
gratitude and openness, we engage with talented individuals from
around the world who share similar ideals, and our linked community is
the most professional and passionate.
We uphold honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct in all aspects of our operations. Therefore, we do not charge any fees from our candidates. Candidates with prior teaching or tutoring experience are strongly encouraged to apply!
As a volunteer teacher, the only expense you incur is your visa
and passport expenses. Some benefits are:
· Generous monthly stipend (10,000-15,000RMB/mo.)
· Free airfare to China (10,000 RMB reimbursement)
· Free TEFL Certification
· Extensive paid vacation time
· Free accommodation
· Opportunity for cultural outings and holidays, while
working a limited 20-hour a week work schedule
