The Summer Internship Development Program at Versant Health is designed to help you explore your career, learn our business, and develop as a young professional. Throughout the course of this 8-week summer internship opportunity, you will engage in professional and career development workshops, attend fireside chat series with Versant Health’s senior leaders and complete a capstone project.

What are we looking for?
- Assist with editing and proofreading letters related to member benefits, eligibility and authorization requests using client-provided templates.
- Ensure letters are accurate and compliant with industry regulations, including state and federal requirements specific to the line of business (LOB).
- Collaborate with team members to streamline letter processes and improve turnaround times while maintaining quality standards.
- Attend and participate in meetings related to letter production, compliance, and process improvement, gaining insight into best practices.
Preferred Fields of Study: Undergraduate level
- Healthcare Administration
- Healthcare Management
What’s necessary to do the job?
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of June 2 - August 1, 2025
- Technical skills in IT platforms
- Attention to detail and Thoroughness
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Writing and communication skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Effective networking skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
