Speech Language Pathologist
Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Vista, CA! We have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special needs, and we are hiring like-minded professionals to be part of our team.
Job Details:
- 7.5 hrs/day (Monday-Friday)
- Elementary and High School students
- Caseload: 65
- On site only (Vista, CA)
- Start: ASAP | End: 6/4/25
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution
- Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology
- Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs
Responsibilities:
- As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will:
- Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
- Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
- Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
- Attend IEP Meetings
- Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
- Consult with Teachers
- Work as a part of Special Ed team
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
