Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Counseling Intern to join our team. This internship is designed for graduate students pursuing a master's degree in counseling. Interns will gain hands-on experience working with clients under the supervision of licensed professionals while developing essential counseling skills.​

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and/or group counseling under supervision.​
  • Facilitate support group and teen day camp sessions under supervision
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans.​
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.​
  • Participate in case consultations, training, and supervision meetings.​
  • Assist with community outreach, workshops, or educational programming as needed.​
  • Assist with website and social media content as needed.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines in accordance with professional and legal requirements.​

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a master’s program in counseling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.​
  • Ability to work with diverse populations in a nonjudgmental manner.​
  • Willingness to receive feedback and engage in self-reflection.​
  • Previous experience in mental health settings is a plus but not required.​
