Quantum Optics Post Doctoral Researcher

1 year Post Doctoral position at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Information Directorate in Rome New York, USA. Position focuses on integrated photonics testing and theory for heterogenous quantum networking.   

US CITIZENS ONLY.  Work is performed on US military installation, no remote work option.

Duties include design and construction of experimental photonics test setups, programming of experimental devices including lasers and detector systems, data analysis, theory development and numerical simulation.  Working in dynamic small team environment.  Candidate must show ability to communicate scientific principles clearly verbally and in writing.  Previous peer reviewed publication preferred.

Essential skills: quantum physics and optics experience, python experience, experimental lab work experience.
