Creative Writing Internship

Are you in need of a flexible internship that allows you to be viewed as an accomplished professional before you even graduate? Easy Event Planning (EEP LLC) has been offering highly compelling opportunities for students to learn in a supportive, virtual environment for nearly 20 years. Our interns have built critical resume-building experience that has allowed them to be hired by Fortune 500 companies and some of the top names in SEO (search engine optimization).

We are a leading innovator in the event space. Our site allows people to plan events in record time. We are now partnering with Amazon, Etsy, Oriental Trading and many others to launch the first-ever idea marketplace of party items in the US.

We have some important writing projects this summer, including:

  • Creating detailed descriptions of our 200+ theme parties.
  • Researching and writing content for our Knowledgebase. This is a specific type of writing that involves writing succinctly. This content can appear at or near the top of Google in the “People also ask” section.
  • Writing guest blog articles. This involves rewriting content created by AI (so you can focus on writing on not spend a great deal of time on research).  These blog articles are published on a range of other websites and link back to our site.

This is a highly competitive position. You must be a proactive go-getter to succeed in this type of flexible, remote environment. We’re looking for serious-minded students who are looking to learn, take initiative, and build their resume skills. You can work from home and create your own schedule. Most communication will take place via Skype video, audio, and text communication. This is currently an unpaid internship position.

What do we look for in an intern?

We love working with students who really want to learn, take advantage of the incredible opportunity, contribute and advance to leadership roles.
