In this role, you will dig deep, think fast, and provide intelligence that moves markets. You’ll research, analyze, and produce high-impact reports for private-sector clients navigating geopolitical, regulatory, and business risks—particularly those tied to the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Your insights will help shape major investment, partnership, and security decisions at the highest levels.

What You’ll Do

• Work with our Decision Intelligence team to research companies, individuals, and industries, with a focus on PRC-related geopolitical and regulatory risks.

• Conduct deep-dive open-source research in English and Mandarin Chinese.

• Analyze geopolitical, regulatory, and reputational risks affecting businesses and investments.

• Evaluate US and PRC government publications, corporate records, and emerging policy trends to assess their impact on global markets.

• Synthesize intelligence into sharp, sophisticated reports that help clients make confident decisions.

• Provide expert advice on business and investment policy in the PRC and the US.

• Brief senior executives and clients, delivering insights with confidence and clarity.

What You Bring

• A Master’s degree in Risk Management, Political Risk, Trade Policy/Compliance, Investment & National Security, Business Administration, or International Business.

• 2–3 years of experience in corporate due diligence, PRC-related investigations, investment & national security policy, or emerging and advanced technologies.

• Familiarity with US and PRC policy trends on outbound/inbound investments.

• Ability to conduct in-depth research in Mandarin Chinese from diverse sources.

• Experience with data visualization tools, geopolitical risk assessment, or research in other geographic areas (Middle East, East Asia) is a plus.
