Retirement Technician I
The Fresno County Employees' Retirement Association (FCERA) invites applications for the position of Retirement Technician I. Incumbents perform technical work involving the application of the County Employees Retirement Law (CERL), California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act (PEPRA), and department policies and procedures to audit member accounts, perform service purchase and other pension-related calculations, investigate system-generated notifications, process retirement payroll, and other pension-related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
OPTION 1:
Education: Completion of sixty (60) semester units of coursework that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system.
OPTION 2:
Education: Completion of thirty (30) semester units of coursework that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system.
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time, paid work experience in an office setting, which involved reviewing financial records and processing financial transactions.
OPTION 3:
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time, paid work experience in an office setting, which involved reviewing financial records and processing financial transactions.
In addition to the options listed above, the following may also be required:
License: Possession of a valid class "C" driver's license, or equivalent, may be required.
