We Require
Two years of experience in coordinating and administering public programs and services
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the program area
Post-secondary education may substitute for one year of the experience requirement
We Also Value
Program management experience in a human services or criminal justice environment
Experience with electronic case management systems in a human services or criminal justice environment
Experience working with Prosecutor by Karpel (PbK)
Proficiency in creating and organizing Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, and databases
Experience with large group public speaking and training facilitation
Job Contributions
Examine diversion program case processing steps performed by administrative professional staff, to ensure efficiency; develop and implement continuous quality improvement processes
Work with MCAO technology staff in the development and maintenance of the diversion program: custom reports, case flows, and event codes
Work with MCAO and diversion contractor technology staff on electronic feed maintenance and expansion
Monitor daily/weekly reports on electronic transmissions between MCAO and diversion contractor staff; resolve issues as they occur
Respond to e-file issues between diversion contractor staff and the courts
Audit and maintain processes for diversion program discharge reports for missing or vague information; request amended discharge reports from the diversion contractor staff
Respond to prosecutor or defense counsel requests for additional information concerning a defendant’s unsuccessful discharge from a diversion program; may involve obtaining communication history between diversion contractor staff and the defendant, or other relevant case details maintained by the diversion contractor
Audit drug testing portals for operational reliability and compatibility with diversion program discharge reports
Maintain Diversion Contractor Incident Log and follow up with Contractor as needed
Assist in obtaining death certificates or formal confirmations of death when a diversion program participant is reported to be deceased
Train MCAO diversion staff, diversion contractor staff, prosecutors, and defense attorneys when implementing new or amended diversion program case processes
Assist in program evaluation activities including observation practices, to evaluate program adherence to effective intervention principles, monitor diversion contactor corrective action plans
