Engineering Intern

Engineering Interns will work closely under the guidance of the Engineering team to apply practical, hands-on, real work experience utilizing the information and skills they have learned.  A focus of the internship will be on understanding the fundamentals of manufacturing engineering.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design, development, and testing of engineering projects.
  • Create and update drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation and data.
  • Identify and optimize a process to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and optimize material usage.
  • Analyze current quality control processes, identify common defects and their root causes, and propose solutions to improve product quality.
  • Present project outcomes to leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Up to 10% travel required

Required

Education/Certification

  • Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of engineering program (i.e. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics)
  • Hold a minimum of a 3.0 GPA

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Active student in good standing focusing on a career Engineering
  • Superior communication and computer skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and professional

  • Prior experience with prototyping, testing, or CAD software
