Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team in York, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and preparing patients for procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment with precision to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and imaging results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and improve imaging techniques.
  • Uphold aseptic techniques and adhere to safety standards in the imaging department.
  • Educate patients about the MRI process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and practices.

Experience
Candidates should possess:

  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to radiology and imaging procedures.
  • Experience with various medical imaging modalities, particularly MRI and CT scanning.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret images and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
  • Familiarity with sonography principles is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols in a clinical setting.

License and Requirements:

  • ARRT, ARMRIT, BLS Certifications
  • Must have 2+ years of experience
  • EPIC experience

13 week contract, M-Th- 3X12 hours or 4X10 hours

Hourly- $60-63 depending on experience.

Experience:

  • MRI Tech: 2 years (Required)
  • Epic: 1 year (Preferred)

 

License/Certification:

  • ARMRIT certification (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
