Are you passionate about helping individuals with developmental disabilities? The Illinois Department of Human Services is looking for a dedicated Social Worker II to join the Murray Developmental Center in Centralia, IL. This is your chance to provide critical social work services, work as part of an interdisciplinary team, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Provide professional social work services in habilitation and support for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy, as well as coordinate with community agencies and resources.
• Complete evaluations and maintain individual review schedules and records.
• Serve as a liaison between individuals, families, and significant others involved in service planning.
• Monitor the quality of care and compliance with standards.

📚 What We’re Looking For:
• Master’s degree in social work and one (1) year of professional experience in social work with developmentally disabled or mentally ill individuals.
• Passion for helping others, particularly adults with disabilities.
• Ability to work after business hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
