Part-Time PR Specialist
DH Noodles is a group of Chinese restaurants that serve authentic northwestern Chinese cuisines mainly based in NYC area. We are looking for a part-time PR specialist to explore media and industry event opportunities for DH Noodles. Successfully complete this project may lead to other similar projects and full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Look for media opportunities to promote the DH Noodles brand and its 15+ locations either locally or nationally.
- Apply for awards and industry events, giving DH Noodles more exposure from earned media.
- Help DH Noodle craft a consistent national narrative
Requirements
- Expect 10-20 hours of work per week.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations skills with experience of securing press coverage.
- Ability to craft compelling press releases and speeches.
- Proficiency in media monitoring and PR analytics tools
- Knowledge of digital PR, SEO principles, and social media trends.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
Preferred qualities
- Mandarin Chinese language skill a plus, not requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and executing PR campaigns.
- Have experience in the hospitality / restaurant industry
- Innovative, not afraid to think outside of the box
