Safety and Environmental Consultant – Client Services Specialist

We have assisted our customers for over 30 years in helping them achieve and maintain compliance with environmental and occupational safety and health regulations. Job Description -

We are looking for a full-time occupational environmental, health, and safety compliance consultant. The salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 based on the candidate’s experience. Ideal requirements for the candidate would include:

· A bachelor’s degree in safety

· In-depth knowledge on OSHA regulations 

· 3+ years of on-the-job Occupational Safety and Health experience, which can include internship experience (Any environmental compliance experience would be highly valued)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Organizational skills with time management and maintaining an efficient schedule for both yourself and the clients

· Strong communication skills with the clients as well as with the rest of the team

· Confidence and the ability to present to others on a regular basis

Safety Skills Necessary to Assist Our Clients:

· Conduct hazard inspections/safety audits

· Develop, write, and update OSHA-compliant safety programs

· Train employees on OSHA-required topics/Presenting regularly scheduled safety trainings*

· Train and certify employees on hands-on topics such as forklift certification and lockout tagout

· Provide OSHA citation assistance

· Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and submission

· Assist with accident investigations

· Assist in developing lockout tagout procedures

· Develop Personal Protective Equipment hazard assessments

· Help create a positive company safety culture!

* Training typically takes place between 6am-6pm with occasional after hour shifts

Travel:

You must have a valid drivers license in good standing and provide your own reliable vehicle. This job will require traveling to designated client accounts to provide the above services. Most clients are within driving distance, however we do assist a few out-of-state clients that may require occasional travel.

Location -

Our home office is located at 2420 S 179th St., New Berlin, WI 53146 in a quiet industrial park, however our services are primarily spread throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
