Front-End Developer

 Part-Time | Jr. Level Position | Hybrid (Remote & Downtown Provo, UT)

About SureMark Digital: SureMark Digital™ addresses the growing threat of deepfakes and declining public trust in online information by providing digital credentials that help distinguish genuine content from AI-generated media. Our SureMark Digital ID™ enables individuals to assert their identity, claim their content, and control their narrative, thereby disarming the impact of deepfakes.

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual with a keen eye for front-end design, development, and testing. This part-time role (5-10 hours per week, with the possibility of expansion) is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in UI/UX design and software testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, refine, and implement user interface features to enhance user experience.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure optimal app performance.
  • Manage and update our Chrome browser extension.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve UI/UX issues.
  • Provide feedback on design usability and functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with quality assurance testing.
  • Understanding of JavaScript-based applications (React preferred).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues effectively.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid role: Work remotely but be available for occasional meetings in our downtown Provo office.
  • Flexible hours, ideal for students or early-career professionals.
