The Physical Sciences Computing Office is seeking a reliable, organized, self-starter and driven undergraduate UCI student with work-study funding to assist in our IT Office.

The duties for this position include:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and debug a variety of platforms and products.
  • Assist with inventory management and documentation.
  • Provide end-user technical support to faculty, staff, and students of computers, printers, and end-user equipment (such as tablets and smartphones) for various departments in the School of Physical Sciences.
  • Provide end-user technical support to faculty, staff, and students of various Audio-Visual systems in conference rooms and classrooms.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Apple computers, Linux, Windows 10, Microsoft Office products, and computer hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience with configuring operating systems.
  • Installing, configuring, and testing software packages.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $16.50/hr.
