Job Title: Advance Algebra Tutor
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Algebra Tutor to provide tutoring services (FACE TO FACE) for advanced algebra to a 14-year old. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of algebraic concepts and be able to assist student/s in mastering complex topics. Tutoring will take place at their private residence.
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in advanced algebra concepts, including but not limited to polynomials, rational expressions, functions, inequalities, systems of equations, and quadratic equations.
• Tailor lessons to the individual needs of the student to ensure comprehension and success.
• Help the student with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
• Offer guidance on problem-solving techniques and strategies.
• Track progress and provide feedback to the student or family.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications:
 

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of advanced algebra concepts.
• Proven experience tutoring algebra at an advanced level.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, understandable manner.
• Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the student's learning style.
• A degree in mathematics, education, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience tutoring students at a high school or college level is highly preferred.

Schedule: Flexible, by arrangement with the student. Availability during evenings or weekends is preferred. You would be required to meet with our student one to three times per week.
Location: Private residence in Beverly Hills.
Compensation: $50.00/hour
