Ground Worker - Treecare

Job Summary:

Join our Treecare team as a Ground Worker! You’ll work closely with experienced arborists to support tree pruning and removal operations while gaining hands-on experience in tree care and equipment handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist climbers by tying and removing tools.
• Support rigging operations by installing and lowering equipment.
• Operate trucks, chippers, and other machinery (CDL not required).
• Set up safety equipment like cones and barriers.
• Maintain tools like chainsaws and chippers.
• Identify common tree species (e.g., elm, oak, maple, ash).
• Follow safety protocols and report any issues.
• Communicate professionally with team members and clients.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: No prior experience required, but 1 year of field experience preferred.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid (within 6 months of hire).
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
