Job Summary: Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for therapeutic and diagnostic studies utilizing a variety of radioisotope equipment. Operate Nuclear Medicine and PETCT equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes.  Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders.  Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, technical factors, radiation safety, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology. - Required
• Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist through ARRT, NMTCB, or ADPH - Required
• Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services - Upon Hire
• Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services - Upon Hire
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association - Upon Hire
