Job Summary:
We are seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator to manage the inventory, procurement, and organization of spare parts for our blow molding and injection molding equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components are readily available to support machine uptime and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize spare parts inventory for molding equipment, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Track and replenish stock levels to prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory.
- Source and purchase OEM and aftermarket parts while negotiating competitive pricing.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to track parts usage and anticipate future needs.
- Implement efficient inventory tracking systems using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or ERP/MRP software.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, costs, and usage trends for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in spare parts management, inventory control, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or plastics processing environment.
- Familiarity with blow molding and injection molding equipment and their key components (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical).
- Proficiency in CMMS software (e.g., eMaint, Fiix, MPulse, Limble) and ERP/MRP systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze inventory trends and optimize stock levels.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams.
