About Us

Tiramisu is a platform dedicated to making sustainable & healthy choices and meaningful real-life events more accessible. Our app highlights events and gatherings centered around art, wellbeing and impact, and gives ideas & tangible guides on how to host your own: repair cafés, game nights, clothes swaps, poetry slams, sports meetups and more. Through Tiramisu’s reward program, we reward people’s healthy & sustainable actions (renting bikes, repairing things, hosting meetups,..) with exclusive free access to inspiring community events, like one-day choirs, wellness meetups or weekend nature retreats.

Some of our reward experiences are free tickets to existing events, some are experiences we host ourselves.

The job and responsibilities

For our launch in NYC, we are looking for an event & reward coordinator to support us with local events & partner coordination.

Some of the things you’ll do:

• Organize & host local community activations & events
• Help us find & build partnerships with
  • local reward partners & sponsors: coffee shops, vintage stores, bike rentals, clothes rentals, repair shops, restaurants etc.
  • local event organizers (yoga/ sound bath studios, community choirs, musicians, running clubs…)
  • event spaces that can be used for community-led meetups
• Attend some reward experiences, welcome winners & capture their experience

This will start as a part-time contract position with flexible hours, with great opportunities to extend & grow the role as our platform grows.

• You deeply care about your community & our planet
• You are tuned in to the local event scene and ideally already have connections
• You’re a people person with great energy
• You have experience with running events & meetups
• You’re great with planning & keeping deadlines
• You’re organized & able to juggle different aspects of event planning & partner coordination
• You’re ok to sometimes work evenings and weekends, as this is when most of our events will happen (you’ll be free to organize your own time outside of fixed events)
• You love working independently and in small teams
• You need to be able to work as a freelancer
