Construction Project Engineer

Construction Project Engineer:

Team Member services include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: 

1. Assist project management team with all on-site project management tasks.
2. Manage, author, and submit Requests for Information (RFI).
3. Manage, author, and submit Project Submittals.
4. Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors to help manage subcontractors involved in the project.
5. Attend project subcontractor meetings, safety meetings and Owner Progress Meetings and assist with generating meeting minutes.
6. Assist with site supervision as directed by PM.
7. Assist with supervising safety of construction workers, fill out safety inspections and issue safety violations as needed and as directed by PM.
8. Assist with documenting project progress with digital photography.
9. Maintain the Record Drawings by posting RFI’s, project changes and site as-built information on a continuous basis throughout the project.
10. Assist with all aspects of project closeout documentation as directed by Project Manager.
11. Assist with collection and review of change orders from subcontractors.
12. Assist with submission of change orders.
13. Ensure project dailies are completed and on file
14. Warranty administration.
15. Close-out administration.
16. Participate in MWBE networking events.
17. Assist with the preparation of GMP documents as directed by PM.
18. Manage, author, and submit subcontractor bid packages and RFQs
19. Collate subcontract tenders.
20. Development of Construction and CPMS Schedules in P-6.
21. Manage Construction Documents in Pro Core Construction Management Software.
