Jesuit Volunteers - St. Labre Schools

Interested in a cross-cultural service education environment that goes beyond traditional classroom teaching? Whether you're providing health education, providing food security for rural students and their community, or connecting with students one-on-one, you can gain professional skills by serving as a Jesuit Volunteer AmeriCorps Member in one of our Southeastern Montana locales!

This year of service is a unique opportunity to deepen your sense of purpose through what you will learn about yourself as you serve. But, you don't have to wait to make an impact. You will make a difference in the lives of the students that you serve by accompanying them all year long. Admission to our program is rolling - the sooner you apply, the sooner you will know where next year will take you. Follow us on Instagram @jvcnorthwest to get a glimpse of life as a JV, including where they serve.

All our Jesuit Volunteers gain skills, explore your purpose, take a year before more education, or kick start a future career in non-profits.  Serve with 70-80 volunteers in a variety of service roles throughout the region.

Keep in mind that this is a year of service program, so compensation differs from a typical job. All JVs receive food and housing, basic medical insurance and additional health costs, commuter expenses (e.g., bike, bus pass), and a monthly stipend of $100. Read about all the support you will receive here. Distinct from an entry-level job, our program also provides the opportunity to live in community, reflect on your purpose through retreats, and in locale support.

Most Jesuit Volunteer positions with JVC Northwest are also AmeriCorps positions. AmeriCorps Members receive an education award of more than $7000 towards student loans or future tuition upon completion of their service term.
