Human Resources / Talent Summer Intern

As a Human Resources / Talent Intern, you'll work closely with our Talent Enablement team to support projects aligned with furthering our People strategies within the areas of recruiting, onboarding, training, employee engagement, and more, all while developing essential HR skills in a dynamic environment.  The 10-week internship program will commence on May 27th and the role is based at our North Charleston, SC corporate office.

 

We are seeking a rising Junior/Senior currently enrolled at a 4-year university majoring in Business Administration, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources or related discipline. 

 

 What You Will Do:

  • Partner with Recruiters, HR Business Partners and Hiring teams on recruitment efforts
  • Support Talent Enablement / Talent Development on Leadership and Associate projects
  •  Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute creative insights
  •  Contribute to projects and activities designed to support Sonepar’s early career and internship programs

 

What You Bring:

  • Current enrolled at a 4-year university, entering your junior or senior year. 
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Socia Media tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Curiosity, desire to learn and flexibility
  • GPA: 3.2 or higher
