Ticket Booth & Gift Shop Associate
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is looking for friendly and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Ticket Booth & Gift Shop Associate. If you have great customer service skills, enjoy engaging with guests, and have a passion for history and hospitality, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors with ticket purchases and museum information
- Provide excellent customer service in the gift shop, helping guests with purchases and inquiries
- Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Restock merchandise and maintain a clean, organized shop
- Answer questions about museum exhibits, events, and attractions
- Assist with other tasks as needed to enhance the visitor experience
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle transactions efficiently
- Basic math and computer skills for register operation
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
