National Director of Clinical Therapy

# NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL THERAPY
Non-pharmaceutical, Faith-Based Approaches to Mental Wellness
**100% Remote | 100% Flexible Schedule**

## POSITION OVERVIEW

Voice Up is seeking a visionary National Director of Clinical Therapy to lead our groundbreaking approach to mental and behavioral health through non-pharmaceutical, faith-based therapeutic interventions with an initial focus on student athletes and young people. This pioneering leader will develop and implement a nationwide framework of proactive therapy strategies and outreach specifically designed for student athletes of all age ranges, youth, adolescents, teens, and young adults. The framework will transform traditional clinical therapy by integrating spiritual principles, purpose discovery, and community-based support systems. The ideal candidate will shape how clinicians across the country deliver proactive mental health services that honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while addressing the unique challenges faced by young athletes and youth in developmental transitions.

This role requires a dynamic leader with clinical expertise who can bridge faith-based approaches with evidence-informed therapeutic practices while maintaining clinical excellence. You will build a comprehensive national model that elevates holistic therapy through purpose discovery, spiritual integration, and community connection, while creating innovative training systems, evaluation frameworks, and implementation guides that can scale across diverse communities and faith traditions.

## MISSION IMPACT

As National Director of Clinical Therapy, you will fundamentally transform how mental and behavioral health services are delivered to student athletes and young people by developing proactive approaches that address the whole person—including their spiritual needs and purpose-centered growth. Starting with pilot implementations in athletic programs, schools, and faith communities across 10-15 diverse regions, you'll create a replicable model of preventative outreach and early intervention demonstrating how purpose-centered, faith-integrated therapy dramatically improves outcomes for young people while reducing reliance on medication-based interventions. This proactive approach will emphasize reaching student athletes and youth before crises develop, leveraging the unique opportunity that sports and educational environments provide for mental wellness support.

Your work will revolutionize how mental health organizations measure success, shifting from symptom management to purpose fulfillment and spiritual wellbeing as predictors of sustained mental health. Through your leadership, therapeutic approaches that honor faith traditions while maintaining clinical excellence will become recognized nationwide, creating pathways for thousands of individuals to find healing through integrated approaches that address their deepest needs and values.
