Video Editing and Motion Design Intern
Milk Agency is seeking a talented and motivated Video Editing and Motion Design Intern to join our production team. This role focuses on motion graphics, video editing, and overall video production support for our diverse client projects. As a Creative Video Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic agency environment while contributing to high-end content creation.

Responsibilities
- Support video editing and post-production for client projects
- Create and animate motion graphics using After Effects and similar tools
- Assist with organizing and managing source footage and digital assets
- Help prepare equipment for shoots and provide on-set support as needed
- Contribute to creative brainstorming for motion graphics and video concepts
- Edit rough cuts and assist senior editors with more complex projects
- Create basic animations and visual effects for social media and digital content
- Maintain organized project files and assist with asset management
- Support the team with research and reference gathering for stylistic approaches
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Film, Motion Design, Digital Media, or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Basic understanding of animation principles and motion graphics techniques
- Portfolio showing video editing, motion graphics, and/or animation samples
- Ability to follow creative direction while contributing fresh ideas
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with best practices for video production workflows
- Understanding of current trends in digital/social video content
- Basic knowledge of video codecs, formats, and delivery specifications a plus
Additional Information
- Compensation: $20-30 per hour, based on skills and experience
- Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
- Duration: 3-month internship with possibility of extension
- Location: NYC, Soho with hybrid on site 2x a week
