The VA Providence Public Affairs Office is offering an internship for a motivated individual looking to gain experience in government communications, media relations, and event coordination—all while serving those who served our country.

As an intern, you’ll get real-world experience in:
Media & Public Relations – Assist with press inquiries, draft press releases, and support crisis communication efforts.
Social Media & Digital Content – Help manage VA Providence’s social media accounts, create engaging content, and maintain brand consistency across platforms.
Event Planning & Outreach – Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, including ceremonies, community outreach, and media opportunities.
Congressional & Government Affairs – Assist with congressional inquiries, track legislation impacting Veterans, and support interagency communication.
Medical Media & Internal Communications – Fulfill creative requests, take event photographs, design graphics, and contribute to internal publications.
