Dermatology Medical Scribe
We are seeking a full-time or part-time Dermatology Medical Scribe with opportunites for Medical Research to become a part of our team! This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in a cooperative team environment, verbal and written communication skills, numerical skills and organizational abilities.
On-site training is offered, including certification in Good Clinical Practice and Medical Photography.
Interested and qualified candidates also have the opportunity to gain experience in medical research if desired, to put them in the strongest position for graduate school applications.
Pay is based on qualifications and experience.
Opportunities (training provided):
- Assisting the Physician and certified Physician Assistant with patient care including front office responsibilItiies, rooming of patients and documenting medical consultations in the patient chart.
- Communicating with patients to schedule appointments.
- Tracking patient test results.
- Gathering information relevant to patient visits and care.
- Assisting with medical photography.
- Participating together with the whole team in general clinic activities to provide better patient care.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications in life sciences, medical sciences, pre-PA, nursing or pre-med are an advantage.
- Previous research experience is desirable but not necessary.
- New grads or potential applicants for PA, nursing or medical school are welcome.
