
Atlantic Crime Intern
Position Description
Atlantic Crime is excited to offer a paid internship for those passionate about mystery, thriller and crime fiction books and eager to learn more about publishing. The intern’s main responsibilities will be reading, evaluating, and reporting on incoming manuscripts, helping prepare sales and marketing materials, and conducting marketing outreach. There will also be opportunities to assist with other editorial tasks, including writing long summaries of upcoming books, brainstorming comparable titles for sales and marketing purposes, and drafting copy.
Qualifications:
The Atlantic Crime intern must be passionate about books, possess strong written and oral communication skills, take initiative, and work effectively with others. They must enjoy reading crime fiction, have an understanding of the genre in today’s marketplace, and feel capable of voicing their opinion.
Time Period
The intern will work remotely three days a week for approximately six months, and will be paid $16.50 an hour. The internship will run from April 14 through October 17, 2025.
