Data Science Intern - Product Management Intern (Summer 2025)

Data Science Intern - Product Management Team

We are looking for a passionate and talented data science intern to join our product management team for the summer.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated data science intern to join our product management team. This role is ideal for an undergraduate or graduate student studying data science who is eager to apply machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to real-world business challenges. The intern will work on developing models to forecast product volumes across our portfolio, predict trends in product prices and margins, and help develop a pricing model

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product management team to understand business requirements and objectives.
  • Develop and implement ML/AI models to forecast product volumes across the portfolio.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and patterns in product prices and margins.
  • Develop predictive models to forecast future trends in product prices and margins.
  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive pricing model using ML/AI techniques.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the product management team and other stakeholders.
  • Document methodologies, processes, and results for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Familiarity with ML/AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or project experience in data science or related fields.
  • Knowledge of the networking industry and data center technologies.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

Minimum Salary: $84,000.80

Maximum Salary:$120,750.55

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $84,000.80 and $120,750.55/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
