Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Job Type: W2 Contract (No C2C)

Job Location: Onsite/Hybrid/Remote (Anywhere in USA)
 


 

Job Description:

Position Summary:

  • This role will have a foundational understanding of ServiceNow development and be eager to learn and grow in this dynamic field.
  • It involves assisting in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and integrations, under the guidance of senior developers and architects.

 

Responsibilities:
 

  • ServiceNow Development: Assist in the development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB.
  • Customization: Develop simple to moderate custom applications, workflows, and modules using ServiceNow Studio.
  • Scripting: Write and maintain client-side and server-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
  • Integration: Assist in integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs and integration tools.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for developed applications, customizations, and integrations.
  • Support: Provide tier 1 support for ServiceNow issues and resolve tickets related to the platform.
  • Testing: Participate in the testing and validation of new features and functionalities to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

 

Qualifications:
 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on ServiceNow or a similar platform.


 

Preferred Skills:
 

  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
  • Understanding of database concepts, preferably SQL.
  • Exposure to REST/SOAP web services is a plus.
     

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
