Job Summary

 

The e-Services Team in Tax Systems Planning is looking to add two e-Services Coordinators to our team!

As an e-Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our online services, helping to improve the user experience for individuals and businesses accessing e-Services. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, innovative environment and contribute to the ongoing success of our digital initiatives.

This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Telework eligibility is based on the business needs of the unit and is at supervisory discretion. Commuting to the St. Paul office location for occasional in-person meetings is expected.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three (3) years* of experience analyzing and testing integrated business systems

*A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or closely related degree as determined by the agency may substitute for one year of experience; an associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience.

Applicants who meet the above experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:

  •  Listening and communication skills necessary to work collaboratively with department and division employees at all levels
  •  Ability to analyze and solve problems, evaluate alternatives, research, and recommend improvements
  •  Ability to follow directions, be open to constructive suggestions, work well with co-workers and supervisors
  •  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience with GenTax and e-Services
  • Experience testing, writing scenarios, and executing test plans
  • Experience preparing reports and completing data analysis on request
  • Experience leading or working on projects/teams

 

Physical Requirements

Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.

Additional Requirements

Prior to an offer of employment, a background check will be conducted.  This will include, but is not limited to checking degrees and licensures, criminal history, and tax filing and payment history.  All individual income tax filing and payment obligations must be current prior to interviewing for this position.
