Account Management Intern
Position Overview
As an Account Management Intern at Vibe, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the world of digital marketing. You’ll support our Account Management team in managing client relationships, creating and executing marketing campaigns, and analyzing data. You will assist in various aspects of digital marketing for Vibe clients, including planning and managing social media accounts, email marketing, online ads, and other tasks as needed.
We are looking for candidates with a passion for people, strong communication skills both verbal and written, a cooperative and positive attitude, willingness to participate and assist with any sort of project, ability to think critically, and a strong interest in digital marketing. Other marketing experience is welcomed but not necessary.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time internship at 32 hours per week with a 3-month duration. The Account Management Internship is an hourly position starting at $15/hour.
Our team is in-office from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we expect all team members to be present and working collaboratively during these times. These in-office days are essential for team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative work, and we believe that they are critical to our success at Vibe. Additionally, due to the nature of our business and the need for in-person collaboration, we require that all employees be located on the island of O‘ahu. This will enable you to fully participate in our team's activities, attend client events, and respond to business needs in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Relations
- Communicate frequently and thoroughly with clients to ensure all of their needs are understood and addressed; attend client meetings and/or phone calls to assist the Account Management team
- Act as the clients’ representative within Vibe to make sure requests are met and customer experience is positive
Project Management
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure appropriate strategies are implemented for the clients’ brand and that all customer projects are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Assist in managing client projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, quality, and brand standards are met or exceeded
Digital Marketing
- Assist with creating and implementing digital marketing strategies across multiple channels, including social media, Google Ads, Yelp, and more
- Create multi-channel content for clients that hits key copy points while remaining creative and on-brand
- Draft compelling copywriting campaigns for email, website, social media, and more
- Assist with the development of benchmarks for client accounts, monitoring of account performance, and creating client reports
Candidate requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills to effectively relay ideas to clients and team members
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of clients and team members
- Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret digital marketing data
- Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks, projects, and clients at once
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Able to accept constructive criticism well and implement it with a desire to improve
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, sales, communications, or similar field preferred
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 per company vaccination policy

- Assignment: We will email any candidates we feel may be a good fit for the position with an assignment. We ask that interested candidates return the assignment within 7 days. The assignment should take between 2-4 hours.
- Phone Interview: A member of the Vibe team will call candidates to conduct a 20-30 minute phone interview. During this call we’d love to get to know you a bit better and learn why you’re interested in Vibe. We also welcome any questions you may have about the role.
- Video Interview: We will set up a group interview via Google Meets with relevant Vibe team members. We’ll throw a lot of questions your way in a random order. Feel free to throw some back our way, too!
