Chemical Engineer

We are looking for a Chemical Engineer or someone with a degree in chemistry.

The job is in Dandridge, TN. We also have a plant in Knoxville, TN that you would have the opportunity to visit and consult with. 

This is a new position for our company, so this job will inevitably evolve, but for now we are looking to develop a method for carbon reduction that we can implement on a large scale. You will be working with the team in Dandridge, but would be heading this project. You would also be responsible for tracking the data on the different streams of material that contain precious metals. The only prerequisites for this job are education and experience with Microsoft Excel. No previous job experience necessary. 

It is a very relaxed environment, and the work is somewhat slow paced due to the nature of the job (we incinerate precious metals bearing materials, so there is down time waiting for the material to burn completely). The plant runs 24/7, but the hours for this position are 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F. 

We have great benefits. After 90 days of employment, you are eligible for 80 hours vacation (prorated for the year), 40 hours of sick time, health and dental insurance and company paid life insurance. After 6 months of employment, you can sign up for our 401 K with a 4% company match. We also have 13 paid holidays and annual bonuses and increases.
